Presentations:

The District Attorney’s Office, in collaboration with CASE, offers a presentation for schools, churches and any interested organization. This presentation features a brief overview of the laws that cover cyber-related crimes, specifically regarding image sharing and what are commonly known as sexting and sextortion. Participants will leave with a better understanding of several social media platforms and ways that people – both young and old – can safely engage with them. These presentations are free of charge and can be arranged by contacting the District Attorney’s Office at 717-299-8100.

No Secrets Between Us books

The book No Secrets Between Us, by Rose Morrisroe, is designed to educate youth, preschool through 3rd grade, on inappropriate touch and to tell a trusted adult if inappropriate touch occurs. Tested by members of the CASE Task Force with great success, we are offering copies of the book free of charge to any entity in Lancaster County who would like to share this information with parents and children.

Camera Covers

CASE provides camera covers, free to any Lancaster County resident, that can be used by a parent, guardian, teacher or other adult to cover the camera on cellphones, tablets and other devices. These are used as a tool to prevent young people from taking pictures or interacting on video chats in inappropriate ways.
